Senior Resources is a strong voice for the region's elderly citizens. Through our involvement at the federal, state and local level we work to enhance the quality of life for older persons. Alzheimer’s Resource Center of Connecticut (ARCC)

In 1988, the Governor of the State of Connecticut appointed a Task Force on Alzheimer’s disease to identify the future needs of people with this illness. Our “best practice” models of dementia care have resulted in a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and created the need to expand our education, training and consulting services. Statewide Legal Services of Connecticut (SLS)

Statewide Legal Services of Connecticut (SLS) offers a free hotline for legal questions. The hotline operators can help with common civil law issues, like public benefits repeals, bankruptcy, landlord-tenant disputes, foreclosures, and similar legal matters. Consumer Law Project for Elders (CLPE)

Adults 60 years of age or older may participate in the Consumer Law Project for Elders (CLPE) to receive free legal assistance. The CLPE offers a no-cost hotline for seniors to call if they have questions about medical debt, credit card debt, identity theft, collection agency harassment, and any other aspect of consumer law. Public Outreach Department of The Pleural Mesothelioma Center

As you may be aware, pleural mesothelioma is a deadly form of cancer caused from asbestos exposure.
