Our Team Of Professionals

You deserve to have a "Quality Associate" who is experienced in providing the services that are needed in your home. We don't believe in "on the job training!" All "Quality Associates" have had clinical training and/or years of strong employment history in caring for the injured, the chronically ill, and seniors.

Companions & Homemakers

When a loved one is in need of in-home care, you want only the very best for them. Companions and Homemakers are care providers that can perform basic non-medical services. Companions and Homemakers are best for families or individuals who need some on-home care assistance and companionship to remain at home, but do not need extensive care or hands-on help.

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), sometimes referred to as Nursing Aides, can help with hands-on care and activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming. CNAs maintain a special certification and have graduated from a state approved training program.

Home Health Aids (HHAs)

Home Health Aides (HHAs) are trained and certified health-care worker who provides assistance to a patient in the home with personal care (as hygiene and exercise) and light household duties (as meal preparation) and who monitors the patient's condition.

Registered Nurses (RNs) Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)

Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) hold a Degree from an accredited program and maintains a current state license. Both RNs and LPNs can perform a variety of skilled services and can assist you or your loved one with instructions, treatments, and assessing and evaluating the care given to the patient and reporting to the patient’s physician.

Becoming a "Quality Associate"

Having the right associates on our team is very important, not only for our company’s culture, but for our clients. We take the extra steps to ensure that each prospective associate meet the requirements of a “Quality Associate”. This will be achieved through multiple in person face-to-face session and obtaining references from reliable sources (previous clients, agencies, healthcare institutions, religious and volunteer organizations, etc.)

CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS

Before becoming a “Quality Associate”, a thorough and comprehensive background check and evaluation will be conducted. Knowing that clients and their loved ones are safe while receiving our services is of the utmost importance. Background check will be conducted at the state and federal level, making sure to leave no rocks unturned.

DRIVING HISTORY

It is imperative for clients and their family to know who we are putting behind the wheel when clients require transportation. All “Quality Associate” will have a driving history report run through the State database to ensure they are safe drivers. Also, to have a piece of mind, every one to two years all records will be update to ensure that safe operation of vehicle is maintained.

PREVENTIVE MEDICAL CARE

QLHHS believe in improving and protecting the health of the public, all “Quality Associates", and most importantly our clients and their families. All new employees will be required to have receive a Tuberculosis skin test and annual flu shot before entering the homes of our client providing care.

Initial & On-Going Training

Though all “Quality Associate” are certified and trained in their respected titled position. After becoming an associate, there would be initial training administered to insure what is required as a “Quality Associate”. In addition to our initial training, Associates will be required to participate in our semi-annual scheduled training sessions in order to reinforce our values, techniques and procedures, and personal effectiveness in order to maximize performance, crucial to excellent clients’ interactions.

Most importantly to being thoroughly screened, our "Quality Associates" are bonded and insured.
